Simply Raw: Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days is an independent documentary film that chronicles six Americans with ‘incurable’ diabetes switching their diet and getting off insulin.

The film follows each participant’s remarkable journey and captures the medical, physical, and emotional transformations brought on by this diet and lifestyle change. We witness moments of struggle, support, and hope as what is revealed, with startling clarity, is that diet can reverse diabetes* and change lives.

Additional wisdom is provided by Morgan Spurlock, Woody Harrelson, Anthony Robbins, Rev. Michael Beckwith, and Doctors Fred Bisci, Joel Furman, and Gabriel Cousens. More…

“Simply Raw is one of the most uplifting stories I’ve ever seen.”
Dr. T. Colin Campbell - Author of “The China Study”

What about Hypoglycemia? Do you think raw will help. I know more people that have hypoglycemia than diabetes. Thanks KO

  2. ABC4All TEAM says:

    CONGRATULATIONS!

The proof is in the pudding.

We do not need more evidence.

What we need is more of the same with additinoal supporters and participants.

    The documentation is superb.

Now with improving health we CAN create the new model of health, Improving Health Maintenance (IMM) and move away from HMOs.

THIS IS NOT LIMITED TO DIABETES!

  4. Wendi Dee says:

    Alex,

The work you are doing to promote this movie and its message is extremely vital for the health of the masses.

When the one participant says, “I’ve been looking for the truth, and by God I found it,” I get the goose bumps every time. What you are doing by spreading this movie is doing just that–getting the truth out there so that others can find it!

Thanks for all that you are doing.

    Lots of love to you,

    Wendi Dee

  5. Thomas Gibson says:

Love this trailer. Engaging, friendly science, personal stories are interesting. Not too much Guru talking head. Nice going with this film and what a great gift of health these folks are receiving and showing that anyone can have good health.

  6. Nancy Bennett says:

I think the trailer is great! Very effective, with a good balance between the support team and the participants. Congratulations!

  7. malcolm says:

honestly i don’t like it as much
    really slow start
lacks continuity and i don’t think it will be nearly as effective - it has moments where it grabs but all the way
what it needs that other one has is momentum - through music, etc…
first one is much more engaging
its not perfect either but if you could somehow try again to merge the two
    good luck

  8. melissa goldman says:

    Hey Mark and crew,
The trailer looks great!!! I am inspired!
    All the best,
    :) Melissa

  9. Ruby says:

Hey Alex. Have just watched the new trailer and I think it is fantastic!!! Now I didn’t think there was anything wrong at all with the first one but watching this one, I had flickers of genuine excitement and happiness for our group, which I had when I watched the entire film. It also packs a punch with some of the incredible people speaking, delivering simply yet poignant kernals of truth about health and the message of the movie. Well done.

  10. Laz Vertiigo says:

This is a way better trailer. There’s more excitement from the participants, that’s great!

  11. Denise J Galarneau says:

It is incredible!!! I love it! I love the DVD!

  12. Tom says:

According to Dr. Cousens’, this diet (lifestyle) also applies to hypoglycemia. See his book “There is a Cure for Diabetes” for specific information.

Check Dr. Cousens’ website: http://www.gabrielcousens.com and this site:

  13. Beth Wilke says:

This trailer is better, a big improvement over the previous one. Good Job.

  14. I love the new trailer and the movie. I am so glad we have a movie to document the power of raw food.

  15. T J says:

looking at the trailer I see triumph but becoming raw on your own is not as easy for people like me yeah I know you’re going to give me the mindset thing but being in a monitered evironment and doing it on your own it’s a lot different have typeII and still fighting and the craving just don’t go away

  16. Mark says:

Alex, love the new trailer! Wonderful to see the footage from other authors and celebrities that can help bring this message to those that need it. It absolutely works. Look forward to helping spread the word and the DVD.
    All the best!
    Mark

  17. Jen Reed says:

I thought this was an awesome and inspiring trailer. I love the people in the movie, they can inspire many people to get off of their insulin.

    Take Care,

    Jen Reed

  18. @KO: Raw helps bring the body back into balance, so (with no personal experience of hypo/hyper-glycemia, but over a year of raw goodness) I would guess that raw can help.

  19. Cindi says:

I love it….. the new trailer is great… I bought a copy for my Mom.. even tho she has not watched it yet.. I keep bugging her… she has lost a lot of wt.. but does have diabetes so I know she can do even better. I need to lose wt and I do not want diabetes so I have switched to raw. I just have to give up salad dressing (and I will) or start making my own all natural raw dressing. I have to say tho…. I am so greatful to all of you in the raw movement that have helped me learn and grow towards a much better me. I want to share this with everyone I know and I keep trying…. maybe someday they will listen… I hope…. thank you.
    Cindi

  20. Nimisha says:

GREAT trailer, and an even greater movie - congrats on such an astounding achievement.

Keep spreading the word - this troubled world needs more vegans and living food vegans.

  21. Suzy says:

It was good. Most of the same information, just modernized! Everyone still makes noise about the impossible notion of reversing diabetes in Type 1. I think you need to emphasis not having any sugars, even fruit. I wonder how the group has done a few years later. Have they kept it up? I’m having a hard time- I’m great for awhile, then I have to cook something for hubby that is too hard to resist. I’m mostly 80% raw. I’m trying every day. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched my videos. Thank you for all your good work. Suzy

  22. Linda says:

I got my DVD back when it was first released and shared it with everyone I know! I will have to get another one, cause its been a year since I have seen it. This has touched so many lives, I am grateful to be able to share this DVD. Thank you so much for doing this documentary!

  23. Katie says:

Do you think diabetics can ween off of processed food slowly or do they have to go raw all the way cold turkey?

  24. .. i like the video…. i love Rev Beckwith and Mrs Rickye Byars Beckwith both great spiritual leaders.(and i hate to type). wow an editor can do many things. the new video adresses todays dilemmas. Dr Cousins I am very interested in this program…. but since i have never seen a price …. and i did see a price for the upcoming event at Agape…(at this time it is beyond the means i see with the physical eye. i was diagnosed Diabetic about four years ago and between you and the ranger i am convinced i should not take deabilitating drugs to heal… i watch my diet and attempt to control things with the right foods…. This is a serious challenge to me alone… if i buy foods from a grocer they spoil in my refrigerator… i work 0330p to 0200am four days per week. i love juice from the beverly hills juice club .. i usually buy a green veg juice and a fruit. I also go to real live raw on franklin in hollywood because i work in that area also… i get their ultimate slimming smoothie (mainly a veg smoothie with the pulp and the chocolate alchemist…. i ask they leave out agave and some times the ( i had only three times and one was last week) sweet potatoe smoothie … omg yum … i know i possibly should not have that. i should not have potatoes, meat ( i love to have eggs in the morning)eggs, grains (says dr mercola ) and i gather from the video no fruit till i heal …. i make an acai smoothie every morning better stated a berry smoothie… i want to be a part of your program for thirty days and i want to do it in a similar group setting…. Can you help me ?
how many of your vidoes should i sell to gain access to your program… i do real well with groups .
I know it is possible. i want to be in a place where cheating is not an optiona and i want to learn how to prepare the foods. help me to help myself

  25. April Ashcroft says:

Love it!! I’m with the Vegetarian Society of Utah and would like to show this in a public forum. We have a copy of Simply Raw already. Do we have your permission to do this?

    Thanks for your amazing work!

    April Ashcroft

  26. Genevieve Doris says:

I purchased and watched the three DVD’s offered for reversing diabetes in 30 days. The messages given was encouraging and inspirational. After watching, my questions were: what foods did the candidates eat and how much, did they participate in food preparation, what other modalities were followed? Did exercise and food supplements contribute to their success? The average American on a S.A.D. regime is not familiar with the variety of fruits and vegetables available to us. Along with success stories, I think emphasis should be placed on food preparation and education about raw foods.

Keep up the good work. I will do my part is spreading the good news by talking to my friends and acqaintences. In the past two weeks my blood sugar dropped from the high 270’s to 206 strictly on an organic raw vegan diet and exercise.

    Thank you

I now follow an organic raw vegan diet and lifestyle.

  27. Rosemary says:

That’s the best trailer I’ve seen so far for this film. EVERYONE will feel compelled to watch it now. :) I attended the 21 day program last summer (I have been diagnosed Type 1 x 27 years) and while I am not completely off insulin yet, I have been under much better control and on significantly less insulin while on the raw diet. Count me in as part of the Movement to Reverse Diabetes Naturally.

  28. admin says:

Absolutely! :) The only requirement that we have is that you register it on the hosting page on our site at http://www.Rawfor30days.com.

We love it when people show the film. :)
    Thanks so much.

  29. Rebecca Carlson says:

Great new trailer. May the word continue to get out!
    Keep up the great work.

  30. April McBride says:

I saw this documentary on tv late last year - perhaps it was just the trailer, but a program featured it and it instantly caught my attention. I had been diagnosed with steroid-induced T2 in June (2007). I was given insulin right away, NPH, and this did not seem to work, so months later I demanded metformin, which helped more, as did exercise.

However, I still could not keep my values low, and about two weeks ago I searched for the trailer again and then began eating raw food exclusively for a week. I am not completely off insulin yet, but my need for it has been dramatically reduced. I have lost 12 pounds as well. I am calmer. I sleep better.

I plan to continue this raw vegan lifestyle at least 90/10 to see whether I can completely get off. If I do, I am requesting a copy of the video to show to my local diabetes community center and will become an advocate for raw and live food.

  31. The new trailer is fantastic; I like what you have done. The first trailer convinced me to buy the DVD and use it with my patients. After seeing the DVD many times I see you have pulled even better explanations of the story behind the documentary. Great work, please keep it up. With educators like your team we will be able to change the way things are being done.

  32. Nicole says:

I love the trailor, the movie, and the encyclopedia DVDs. They have impacted my life immensely. I have lost my mother and my younger brother to complications from diabetes. Needless to say I am on a mission. I have been inspired to be a leader in my community. I also have a career in healthcare and enough is enough. I want to be a part of the solution and in this case the cure. The road ahead is long but if anyone increases their quality of life or saves their life, the journey will be worth it. I’m not sure of the focus or idea you had in mind for changing the trailor but the additions are good. I’m biased, you had at new trailor. My mind is on the individuals who have been brainwashed to believe diabetes has them instead of diabetes is something they do. Maybe that would be a good sign to put on every major highway in America: Newsflash Diabetes is a lifestyle Give up the bandaid and find the cure!

  33. Jovita Allene Nuno says:

Thank you for the invitation. I most enjoyed the SIMPLENESS of the trailer and the overwhelming positiveness.
95% of my family tree has diabetes and I’m one of the very few blessed not to in the number. I continue to WORK at becoming 100% RAW, at times it is very difficult; but I know in my heart just how important this is.
Thank you so much for the encouragement.

  34. Ken says:

My uncle is a PhD physiologist who has diabetes. When I told him about this film, his reaction was that 5 or 6 people is not a large enough sample size to apply the findings to the general population. Has Dr. Cousens done any peer-reviewed double-blind studies to prove the efficacy of this diet? That would be more convincing to some people, such as many physicians and scientists, than the anecdotal evidence shown in the film (which I enjoyed very much btw). Thank you.

  35. Joy says:

I love the new trailer! I just wish you had an option to pay for one viewing of the film and watching online rather than buying the whole DVD. I hope that maybe that will be an option one day.

  36. Shaun in Tucson says:

KO, I’m a raw vegan and a former reactive hypoglycemic, and I feel wonderful. I’ve been raw for a couple of years, have lost 25 pounds and am now at my ideal weight. I am off all three of my high blood pressure meds and both of my antidepressants. In fact, I take no meds at all, and I’m 66 years old.

I do very well on a diet of greens, nuts and seeds, vegetable fruits like tomatoes, low glycemic fruits like berries, and fats. I mostly stay away from high glycemic fruits. My doctor says my blood work is perfect and he says to keep doing what is working so well….as if I’d ever consider going back to the SAD way of eating that kept me sick.

I love my good health better than anything I used to eat…nothing could tempt me to return to illness, depression and overweight.

I have the three DVDs and love them, especially Simply Raw. I get very emotional watching the participants get well and get their lives back.

I really like the new trailer, Alex.

  37. The only thing that I see that could be changed might possibly be to remove the picture of the lady with cream on her nose. It has negative undertones. Not everyone who eats the standard American diet gets cream on their face when eating it.
    Hope this helps :)
You guys are wonderful for what you are doing.Anything else we can do to help please let us know. I always tell people about the film and have loaned out my copy so many times that I do not know where it is .

  38. jamie pinto says:

I like the new version which is seamless. I’ve been watching you since the film came out, and I have the original. The new trailer excludes the people that gave up and stayed diabetic. Persisting is a key ingredient to success in every realm.
I also dream of accessing raw food with the convenience and availability of the status quo supermarket/fast food fare and that is sloooowly becoming the reality. I’m very glad to be part of this reality and helping it grow.

How are the people in that video doing now.

  39. admin says:

Dr. Cousens is working on putting together a much larger study with 500 people for exactly this purpose. So hopefully we’ll get there soon. :) As for your uncle I would tell him that the best test he can do is to try it himself. Nothing is better proof than that! :)

  40. Dana Summers says:

WOW…it makes me want to watch the movie all over again. I am personally having great results and dropping toxic fat from my body. I will be tested in the next few weeks to prove that the changes are also happening on the inside. I love the way I feel and the food I am eating. This movie was a real eye opener and I think this trailer is powerful!!

  41. Pamela W says:

I think the additional personages lend credence.
I am, however, left wondering whether this program was able to help both Type I and II diabetics, and what Types the participants were (are). And I too wonder how the participants are doing now, a year or more after their original thirty days at the Tree of Life Rejuvenation Center, although this would not be information we’d expect to hear in the trailer.

  42. Gloria Bernard says:

I think the second video is a good one, but I would have liked to see if any of the participants ever stuck with it after leaving Arizona.

I have already lost a lot of weight just by changing my own diet to more raw. I was 181 lbs. and now I am 136.

I do not have diabetes, but I do know people that do, but to convince them to go raw is another story.

  43. nashima says:

fantastic! it’s very uplifting and will inspire people who want to cure themselves from diabetes.

  44. LeslieRaw says:

great movie, 5 minutes is a bit long for a trailer…

  45. Anita Koch says:

Bravo! The new trailer is inspiring and provocative. We will be showing the video to our Lifestyle Center guests, many of whom have been dealing with diabetes. The results we see are phenomenal! When people are consistent and conscientious in following the living foods lifestyle we teach here, they are often able to stop all medications, and in the cases of long-term insulin dependency, some are able to significantly reduce their dosages. It is important to emphasize that the same living foods diet & lifestyle shown in the film can bring the same dramatic results for nearly every other form of dis-ease. Thank you for all you are doing to get the word out! You are blessing many lives!

  46. Kurt Foster says:

I like the new trailer better than the old one. It seems more focused. Good luck with the movie!

  47. Allie says:

Loved the movie! Love the trailer ! All I want is to be a part of another study, so I can afford to eat this way. Have you looked at the price of organic whole foods??
I have been looking at my friend’s raw books to get some ideas, and while I am hot to try it, and switch my diet over, the fact that you need a good juicer, a hi speed blender/mixer and a dehydrater are costly and prohibitive at this time.
One of the main reasons I haven’t gone raw is how boring it is to eat nothing but a salad.
Some of the new raw foods un-cook books have fascinating recipes ! But you need hours to soak the nuts, and days to dehydrate some of the offerings. In many I would have to start Fridays dinner on Wed. !
I am diabetic and I am determined to be free of it. There sure isn’t much support out there for healing yourself thru raw foods.

  48. Amy says:

    Hi Alex,
I think the new trailer is really good, it explains a lot in a very short amount of time. I think anyone who is interested in ANY health issue would be intrigued enough to go ahead and buy the DVD to learn more. I know I was. I’m “borderline” diabetic and have autoimmune and thyroid issues, and I’m raw for 3 days now. Set the goal at 30 days. It’s a mind set, people have to want to change their health in order to go raw. I’ve reached that point and am sharing with everyone I know.

GREAT JOB! I look forward to more from you and the team.
    ~Amy~
Eat well, live well, be well.

  49. Sunshine says:

    Hi Alex,

I think you did a great job with the new trailer. While the old trailer was fine, this one has more “Pow” factor. :) I think it’s great for grabbing attention of those who maybe would’ve been take it or leave it with the old one. Great job! :D

    In light and love,
    Sunshine :D

  50. Vikki Ray says:

Raw Food Rules - thank you so much for keeping the information and inspiration coming. Everyone needs to know this, to believe it, to try it, to live it - it truly changes lives!

  51. Aiyanna says:

Aiyanna 10 years old I saw your video. It was great. I love how you help many people physicaly and mentaly. keep up the good work!!!

  52. Charles Long says:

Very inspiring. If the whole films is like that, it should be well worth watching.

  53. Elena says:

LOVE the new trailer. This film is amazing! It has changed so many lives already and will continue to influence more and more. Thank you for making this available and helping spread the word in such a beautiful way.

  54. Nicely done! The other trailer was great; this one is even better. I think it speaks more directly to those who have trouble grasping the concept here. Many thanks and keep up the great work.

    Blessings,
    Geary

  55. RaeVynn says:

    I love the new trailer!
I bought a copy of the DVD a few months ago, and I am now on the adventure of Raw Living! I’m not diabetic, but I do have health concerns, and I know that being Raw will help me beat them! :)

  56. Robin Ives says:

Powerful communication. I did not see the old trailer, but this one speaks directly to individuals who stand to benefit most from viewing the documentary - people at risk for diabetes and those who are suffering because of it.

  57. Sharon says:

Thank you for speaking the TRUTH. I really enjoyed the movie. When are you going to do a second movie? More people need the ‘won’t believe ’till I see it’ proof that your movie provides.

    Blessings,

    Sharon

  58. Roxanna says:

I feel like the original trailer saved me from living a life as a diabetic, I was on 5 shots of insulin a day, type 2 diabetic, and was getting worsse when I saw the first trailer, if this new trailer doesnt get the other diabetics on the band wagon, who knows what it will take…Bless you for doing this for diabetes…Namaste Roxanna

  59. charlie says:

How do I sgn up to come to the ranch. I need help with my addiction to food. thanks

  60. Kirstan says:

Even though i have seen the DVD watching the trailer has just inspired me all over again and i want to go watch it all over again!! You guys are a blessing that is so needed in the world so thank you for all your hard work and persistence in spreading truth, love and happiness!

  61. Adele says:

The trailer and DVD are fantastic. They are getting the message out there that “incurable” diseases are just a matter of diet. I hope the message travels around the world and will enable people to regain hope and health.

  62. Good work! It’s nice to see positive change happening for people everywhere! Pretty soon we’ll have like 89% of disease eliminated from the planet. Hallelujah!!

  63. K. Chiavola says:

Bravo for an incredible movie, and even more incredible project. This is a miracle!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!

  64. Cheryl says:

Great new trailer. So inspiring. . .i hope this proves to affect many lives!

  65. admin says:

You would need to contact the Tree of Life at http://www.TreeOfLife.nu. :)

  66. Anna says:

This trailer is more persuasive than the other one because it shows the process in more detail. I am not diabetic, am very healthy, but about 10 lbs overweight. This trailer is such an inspiration and motivation for understanding the endless possibilities of physical healing by going Raw. I have already bought some books and am moving forward to a raw diet to lose the 10 lbs and become even healthier. You are offering an awesome gift to the world.

  67. Sue Riopelle says:

My 15 year old daughter Zoe has type 1 diabetes - she was diagnosed 2 years ago and I don’t know if she can be cured but has been on the raw foods diet religiously (she is a very determined girl!) for about 6 weeks and has significantly reduced the amount of insulin she is using and her blood sugars have showed alot of improvement! I wish we could send her to Arizona but we can’t so with any luck and all of our research, hopefully we can still achieve her goal to be insulin free.

  68. Gail says:

Watching this new trailer makes me want to try going raw again. I’ve tried a few times without success. I just wish I had the resources to go to Tree of Life and get the results these people did.

  69. D says:

great and incongruent on at least one point… the trailer says they had NO caffeine during the 30 days and in fact in the film, they were fed and taught how to make chocolate… so to make it true or congruent, that comment would need to be ommited… would not be right to mislead, yes?

  70. Margaret says:

Wow!!! That was inspiring.I don`t have diabetes. But I`m 57 and one never knows…..! I have friends that are diabetic though. We are a small community of about 25 people and of that number I know of 5 who are diabetic plus I have a son-in-law very dear to me in Australia who is pre-diabetic. I will seriously consider buying the DVD after watching the new trailer.

  71. Britta in Portland says:

Excellent. Will MTV or HBO or even PBS air this for you???
Also, if you could get WalMart to carry this in its stores, you might reach A LOT of the folks I know who have diabetes. Go where the need is!

Personally, I bought an extra copy and donated it to my library. It’s had an on-going waiting list ever since! (I should donate a second copy…)

    Keep up the good work!

  72. bette says:

Very interesting. I am diabetic, but have managed to control it. This gives me ways to control it much better. Thank you. I’m sending this lead to others who might make the switches necessary to also control it and/or avoid getting it. Thank you.

  73. Bruce says:

The new trailer is great. I was wondering if this program can be accomplished with people at home without having to come to arizona?? Not that i have diabetes i don’t …. just overweight by 150 pounds with swelling feet … not being able to lose the weight?

  74. admin says:

If you are a diabetic it is always recommended that you do so under the supervision of a doctor (disclaimer). :) Anyone can change their diet though. It is their choice. I will have a great interview that will be posted tomorrow about weight loss. Look out for it. :)
    Hope that helps.

  75. admin says:

We’re working on getting it out there through all of those avenues. I don’t know about Walmart carrying it since it would hurt their bottom line because most of their food is packaged. :)
Thanks for donating copies to your local library!

  76. admin says:

    Gail,
The most important thing is to have a community that can support you. I would make sure to join our community at http://www.RDNmovement.com. Just click on “RDN community” on the navigation bar. You will find lots of people in there who can support you in going raw.

  77. admin says:

    Sue,
I would suggest joining the RDN community on our site if you haven’t already as you’ll be able to speak to other people with diabetic children to find out what has worked best for them. Thanks. Hope this helps. :)

  78. admin says:

I wish I could respond to all of these posts! If anyone has direct questions please email me at Alex@SimplyRawMovie.com. Thanks for your support. :)

  79. This is a fantastic discovery, their should be a book with recipies as well as a program developed. for Diabetics to follow the progam at home. this should be considered.

  80. roel says:

    Great Trailer!!! Well done.

The Raw food diet is really amazing. I feel very inspired by the fast growing movement and I am so thankful for the making of this movie. It inspires and opens our eyes for the vast information on the natural diet. It is so amazing to be on this diet, not only physically, but also mentaly, psychologicaly and spiritualy. It does take some determination, but once you start feeling the effects of stopping to poison the body, you’ll want to go on. If you decide to put your health first, you will get there, even if it takes many times to start again.
I was not a diabetic or very ill, but still this diet is changing my life and of those around me. (I started with the trailer last year and immediately started a 30 raw days plan with my wife, just to see what would happen. I personally am very inspired by, and grateful for, the works of dr Douglas Graham and David Klein (who has an awesome book about healing Colitis & Crohn.) During times that I wasn’t that motivated, I still kept up eating loads of rawfoods in the day and cooked food in the evening. Now I am back on strictly raw. So, go raw as much as you can, if determination is low, keep eating a lot of raw, and then, watch this trailer or the movie or whatever opens your mind again, and enjoy the raw life. It is really worth it and there are movies like these to help us heal ourselves.

  81. admin says:

I was about 75% raw this past summer and droped 20lbs in about 6 weeks. I felt great had a better all around disposition. My A1c went from 9.8 to 6.4. Alas,
I fell of the wagon around late Sept.and last A1c was 9.4(Jan) The cold weather has a big factor on me also.(I live in Pa) It is tough with the wife and son eatting the “normal” crap diet of processed food. I am determined to get back on the game because I am also thinking of down the road and the quality of life I want later on(I am 52 now). I know of several people who have passed away or who are amputees because of diabetes.
Why can’t Oprah get a hold of this and do a show on this with Dr.Cousens. What the hect, she went after the Beef industry.

    Glenn,
We would LOVE to be on Oprah. Soon enough. We’re working hard to get it there. :) I live in CT so I understand the issues with cold weather. :)

    Good morning Alex!

Inspiring trailer! I believe that anyone who comes across it would want to view the entire documentary. I have showed it to all those who came to my monthly raw potluck/movie night and they were blown away. I am taking it to Australia to share with my family when I go there in May. My goal is to reach as many people as I can. Thank you! Keep up the good work.

    Liked it. Good update.

But - there needs to be a shorter, high impact teaser trailer for folks with a shorter attention span. Something like 1 minute and 35 seconds. Can you do it?

  87. Linda says:

I purchased the DVD in the very first group. I think I was on the waiting list to receive it initially. It is a great video and very inspirational. I only wish I had more of the recipes you actually used during the 30 day trials so I could follow the program like the “Lucky Six” were able to do. I cannot afford to come there, but would so like to follow the program. I have already refused gastric by-pass surgery because I believe it is unnecessary. No one else around me will consider going raw. I have bought all of the equipment I need but some specific guidance would be appreciated. Everyone I try to contact is so vague. I spend the money to purchase the program and I am still in the dark. I feel deep within that this is the way for me to reverse not only diabetes but any other “ooga-boogas” lurking within. Thank you!!!!!!! Linda

We have two copies, because i let a friend borrow mine and my dad needed to watch it again. haha love it. Go raw!

  89. Carol says:

Loved the new trailer.I bought this for my son who was recently diagnosed as a diabetic and he loved it. He posted it to his sister who is not diabetic and eats mostly raw, and she also loved it. Now, it is on its way to me and I can’t wait.I intend to have a movie night to make sure my friends see it. Thank you for all the love and caring that went into the making of this. Carol

I have seen the film and thought it was great. In fact, I screened it at a meeting of about 30 people. They really enjoyed it and learned a lot of things about eating and thinking that made them consider the choices they’re making and living today. I believe some of those people will make better choices now.

The new trailer is excellent. It informs and tugs at your emotions, so, it should help many people decide to watch the film and then the film can do its magic. Keep up the good work!

I was at the Tree of Life while this movie was being filmed so i have followed it’s progress for more than 2 years. I’m happy to see that some of the original content has been returned, even if it’s only in the trailer. I get wonderful, surprising responses from everyone that I show this film. It is truly a blessing.

  92. zyxomma says:

The new trailer’s great, Alex. I bought tix to see the premiere in Newport (though the trip’s more than a few hours & many dollars), then found out it was playing soon after at the live food & yoga expo here in NYC. Called the film festival & told them to give my tickets away, & if they couldn’t, to consider my purchase a donation. I was SO moved by the movie. I have so many people I want to see it, I’m saving up to make a bulk purchase. My sister could have been one of the film’s participants/subjects, but she’s so afraid to change, she didn’t even mail the application. Change is hard. Excuses are easy. Can’t buy organic veggies ’cause you’re unemployed? Seeds are cheap, you can grow your own! High strength blenders cost too much? Try eBay, where I found mine, or add enough water that your weak blender can do the job. There is always a way once you’re determined. Be kind to yourself. It takes 3 weeks of repeating the action we want to take to make it a habit (21 days also breaks a habit). Even if you think you want it more than anything, it’s difficult to abandon the status quo. But it’s SO worth it! Health and peace, everyone!
